Lucky Mutz Pet Resort
Located in Springfield, Ohio, Lucky Mutz offers luxury dog lodging and grooming at affordable rates. Our facility features spacious indoor and outdoor runs at The Lodge, along with extra-large suites at Woof Manor and the new Retreat Suites. Your pet will enjoy our large, fenced, grassy play areas, which are 6 feet tall. Each suite is climate-controlled for your pet’s comfort, and soothing music plays to keep them calm while you’re away.
With our frequent walking schedule and the fact that we live onsite, your pet will never lack for love and affection. Lodging/Overnights
Your pet will enjoy a comfortable, climate-controlled suite! Dogs can stay in one of our three onsite facilities, and we also offer a variety of additional treats and services for a nominal fee.

For boarding guests, we offer an exit bath so your pup comes home smelling fresh and clean!
Day Care
Day Care is designed for dogs who feel lonely while you work or engage in activities that keep you away from home for long hours. Our Daycare offers a concierge service, ensuring that we do not co-mingle dogs. Each day includes two private exercise breaks and dedicated one-on-one outdoor time! Our Daycare hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.
Ala Carte
Let us pamper your pooch during their vacation! We offer premium treats from WERUVA for our Woof Manor or luxury suite guests. These gourmet treats are made from the highest quality meats, designed with carnivore diets in mind. Your dog will love receiving that extra special treat while away from home. Kongs are great for anxious pups, while Frosty Paws provide an ice-cold treat for your beloved canine companion.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do we need to bring with us?
Please remember to bring enough food for your pet’s stay. Be sure to label all food bags, cans, and treats. We prefer it when food is in labeled baggies! DO NOT bring food in trash bags or large bins; it must be in closed containers or baggies.
You may bring a favorite toy or bone, but please note that we do not allow rope toys or rawhides in the runs. We want your pet to feel comfortable during their stay. We provide water and food bowls, so you can leave those at home. We even supply slow-feed bowls if your pet requires one.
Each run is equipped with a raised Kuranda bed for your dog’s comfort and safety. Please do not bring your own bed, as we supply blankets for the tops of the beds. Feel free to bring an item with your scent on it, like an old t-shirt, to help your pet feel at ease. However, please leave sentimental items at home. We do our best to return items to you, but due to the high volume of care we provide for the pets, some items may get misplaced.
Do you give medications?
We are happy to give pills or drops to your pet for $1.50 per day. Feel free to bring something to put the medication in, such as pill pockets, peanut butter, cream cheese or whatever they prefer. We are also happy to supply those items for you. We want to make sure they will take their medication. ALL medication must be in ORIGINAL bottles and labeled correctly with the exact dosage needed. If not, a $10 fee will be added. We do not accept pets with open wounds, stitches, cones, post surgery or females in season. We want the best for your pet and would prefer them to board with a veterinarian where they can receive proper care.
In case of emergency
Should an unforeseen emergency happen, we will attempt to contact you directly. If we aren’t successful, we will call your emergency contact and then the vet on file. Please
make sure we have updated contacts at check-in time. If it’s after-hours and we cannot contact your vet, we will take your pet to an emergency clinic (Med Vet) to ensure your pet receives the proper care.
How soon before we board do we need our vaccines?
Vaccines must be given at least two weeks before boarding. We only accept vaccines from a veterinarian. We cannot accept pets that are given vaccines from an individual or breeder.
