WHO WE ARE
Susan and Terry Brennan have extensive experience in owning businesses, having previously managed two salons/spas and a professional pet-sitting service. They believe that excellence is essential, and customer service is their top priority; anything less is simply unacceptable. They are excited to care for your pet as if it were their own. For them, dog boarding is not just a job—it’s a passion!

We understand that you want to enjoy worry-free time away, whether it’s for a day or a week. That’s why we check in with you daily via text! We also offer dog grooming services, so you can give your pet a spa day before their stay. We’re not just a kennel; we’re a home away from home! We take pride in providing one-on-one attention for your pets.

Safety Is Our Priority
Our staff is trained in dog behavior, as well as pet first aid and CPR, which enables us to recognize if your pet is in distress. Since we are onsite owners, your pets are continuously monitored. As an additional safety precaution, Lucky Mutz is a collar-free facility; collars and harnesses are removed before pets enter the play area.

Lucky Mutz Luxury offers a variety of additional options for your pets! Indulge them at Woof Manor or The Retreat Suites, which feature larger accommodations that can comfortably hold multiple pets. Enjoy amenities such as webcams that allow you to check in on your pets while you’re away, extra-large beds with upgraded bedding, and even their own TV for entertainment! Each suite includes six potty breaks in our play yard. For further pampering, consider our à la carte options to enhance your pet’s stay while you’re gone!

Why We are Different
Onsite Owners
Terry and Susan Brennan live on the property, ensuring that your pets are well cared for at all times. We let the dogs out between 7:00 and 7:30 in the morning, and the last outing is around 8:00 p.m. This schedule allows your dogs to avoid having to “hold it” until the staff returns.
In the winter, the dogs are let out at least every hour. During the warmer months, their runs are kept open, allowing them to come and go freely, weather permitting!
Our Suites
One option is the Lodge, which has our indoor/outdoor suites. The inside suites are 4×6, and the outside are 4×15. They are separated by a guillotine door that is raised up and down. This is a bonus for fearful, shy, or anxious dogs that prefer not to have human contact. We can let them out, change water, clean, run, and feed, then let them back in. The suites are not shared with other dogs as cleanliness and safety are priorities. If you have multiple dogs, we can put them on a run next to or across from each other. Small dogs may share a run if there are no food reactivity issues. These suites also offer Exercise Breaks in our large play yards where they can run, stroll, play ball, and enjoy our playground equipment. Climate Controlled / Security Cameras
The dog suites are heated and air conditioned for the comfort of your pet. When the weather is nice, the runs are indoor/outdoor and they are free to come and go. In addition, we also have security cameras on our premises, inside and outside, for your pets safety.
Large Outdoor Play Yards
Every dog enjoys sniffing about and picking just the right spot to potty in! Some dogs need exercise breaks and want to run and play in the yard, chase a ball, play on the playground toys or splash in the swimming pools! This creates a much more relaxed dog boarding experience and enhances their stay with us. Just request an “Exercise/Potty Break” when reserving their stay. Available ONLY at The Lodge.
"Free" Pupdates
We know how it feels to leave your pet behind and in the care of someone else. At Lucky Mutz we want you to relax while you’re away and take comfort knowing they are well cared for and doing OK. We offer complementary texts or emails with pictures of your pet and a quick pupdate letting you know how they are doing. It`s reassuring when you get a sweet picture of your baby. We are not JUST a dog kennel, we take pride in the care of your pet!
Affordability
At Lucky Mutz Pet Resort we believe in creating an awesome experience at an affordable price. Our daily rates are very competitive and we offer 10% discount for two pets, and 20% discount for multiple pets of three or more. If you need a long term stay of 30 days or more you may enjoy a 20% discount (50% Deposit required at the time the stay is reserved). Active military may enjoy a 10% savings.
Making a Difference, One Dog at a Time
